Wallpapering
Wallpaper is Brian's speciality. He hangs paper neatly on old and uneven walls, lining up the pattern so it looks right from every angle. One customer was amazed at how he managed their old home's wonky walls perfectly.
Bedrooms, halls and landings
Bedrooms, hallways and landings redecorated, including two-tone walls split by a fresh white dado rail. Customers often book Brian for a hallway and landing after he has done another room for them, because they liked the first one so much.
Fitted furniture and woodwork
Fitted wardrobes, cupboards, shelving, doors and skirtings painted to a smooth, hard-wearing finish. A tired wall of dated wardrobes can look brand new in white without the cost of replacing them. Brian fills, sands and primes first so the paint lasts.
Media walls and TV units
Built-in TV units and shelving designed, built and painted by Brian. Customers say his custom TV stand turned out brilliantly, with plenty of open shelves and cupboards for storage either side, all finished to match the room.
Carpentry and odd jobs
Brian turns his hand to the jobs that come up around the house: a custom carport with EPDM rubber roof and guttering, new handles, a broken wardrobe latch, or rehanging all your artwork after decorating.

What customers say on Google
Brian painted our kitchen and living room earlier this year (see my husband Patrick’s review below). We had him back just now for hallways and bedroom.
Once again absolutely delighted with the work. He’s punctual, a real delight to have around and does excellent, tidy work. We took him up on his specialty this time, wallpaper, and were amazed how he managed around our old home’s wonky walls perfectly.
He always goes the extra mile - fixed a broken wardrobe latch, installed new handles, brought out his drone to check a suspected skylight leak, rehung all our artwork etc.
Also very fairly priced and provides a discount in the end when the work turned out to be quicker than anticipated, despite us having to send him home one morning with no notice due to a minor home emergency.
We are recommending him to everyone who asks.
I can’t recommend Brian highly enough. He’s done numerous odd jobs around our house over the years, and his workmanship is always top-notch. Most recently, he designed and built a fantastic custom carport for us, complete with EPDM rubber roofing and a full guttering system. He also built us a custom TV stand that turned out brilliantly. Brian is exceptionally talented, reliable, and truly capable of turning his hand to anything. If you need quality work done, he’s your guy!
Massively impressed with the work just completed by Brian. Two rooms completely redecorated . Brian is a perfectionist as well as being a fast worker , an unusual combination. I can honestly say that in the 30 years I have lived in this house those two rooms have never looked as good. I would ( and will) recommend Brian to any of my friends who need decorating work
Brian was very professional, clean and tidied up as he went along. The room was spotless on his departure. He arrived on time. And did the job brilliantly. I can highly recommend his work. I find him honest and trustworthy. You won’t go far, to get a better painter and decorator! And yes I’ve booked him to do our hallway and landing!
Brian did an excellent job from start to finish. The price was very reasonable, and the attention to detail was outstanding. I couldn't have asked for a better result. I highly recommend his services and will definitely use him again in the future.
